Much needed break

We are AWOL from our home improvements for 2 weeks. Two glorious weeks on Hilton Head Island. We are enjoying a very laid back vacation. No plans, no schedules and most importantly no saws!
Dale is enjoying his kayak that he bought in April, but hadn't had a chance to use it until now. We're sleeping in, reading some good books and taking long walks on the beach. Little bit of heaven on earth!

Why I haven't been scrapbooking

Besides scrapbooking my other passion is home decorating. For the last few months my husband and I have been working on our kitchen update. We're about 75% finished. I am so glade my hubby is handy with a saw. He has worked endlessly to make my vision come true. I owe him big time! Here is a sneak peak of the work so far. I'll post some before and after pics when we finally finish.
